Today marks the release of the latest Naruto Shippuden title, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 but interestingly the hot news topic today is that its previous instalment, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and it’s “expanded version” Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 – Full Burst, have managed to achieve over 2 million sales within Europe since it was launched in March last year.Ģ Million copies of a ‘niche’ title such as Naruto is a lot as an example the PS4 recently achieved 1 million sales within the UK – so we are talking some impressive figures and, amusingly, the news could’nt have come at a better time as Herve Hoerdt, Vice President of IP Strategy at Bandai Namc Games Europe explains:
